The Kanawha Charleston Health Department and its partners are having a Vaccination clinic at Bible Center Church on December 09, 2021 between 3:00pm and 5:00pm You can receive your Covid-19 vaccination and Flu vaccination at the same time.
COVID-19 VACCINE Booster available to all 18 or older
Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson are available to all 18 or older. The Health Department is open Monday thru Friday excluding Holidays, from 8 am to 3:30 pm walk-in, no appointment necessary for COVID vaccine or testing.

The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department Announces First COVID-19 Vaccination for 5 to 11 Year-Olds
Today, the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department announced their first vaccination for the 5 to 11 year old population. Additionally, they announced the availability of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11 starting Thursday, November 4, 2021.
“We are excited to have vaccinated our first 5-11 year old late this afternoon at the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department. Starting tomorrow at 8 am, COVID-19 vaccinations will be available for children ages 5-11 at the health department,” said Dr. Sherri Young, Health Officer and Executive Director of the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department.

The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department Announces Seventy-Five Percent of Kanawha Countians Partially Vaccinated
Today, the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department is celebrating a significant milestone in the COVID-19 vaccination efforts. As of today, seventy-five percent of eligible Kanawha Countians have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Booster – 3rd dose
CDC recommends the booster dose for individuals who have received the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine in the following groups at 6 months or more after their initial series.
For the individuals that received the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, a booster dose is also recommended for those who are 18 and older who were vaccinated 2 months or more ago
