GoMeals was a free app from the drug company Sanofi for people with diabetes. It ran on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, and a 2013 review also listed it on Google Play. A free online account let people use the same tools on a home computer.
The app helped users plan meals and see the nutrition in what they ate. Its food data came from the CalorieKing database, with more than 40,000 common foods and over 20,000 restaurant menu items. A restaurant finder showed menus and nutrition details. Later versions added tools to log exercise and calories burned, and to record blood sugar readings with notes about meals and activity. The free account backed up the data and shared it across devices. In 2013 the app won a Web Marketing Association award for pharmaceutical mobile apps.
The GoMeals website was still online in August 2016. As of October 2026 the site no longer loads, and no current app store listing could be found. Sanofi did not post a public retirement date that could be found, so treat the app as no longer available. People who want a similar tool can look at MyFitnessPal or ask their diabetes care team about apps.
