The county health department held walk-up COVID-19 vaccination and testing clinics at its office on Lee Street in Charleston in 2021. People did not need an appointment.
In August 2021 these clinics ran on Saturdays, August 7, 14 and 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. On weekdays the health department took walk-ins from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Weekday COVID-19 testing ran from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. by appointment, and residents could call 304-348-8080 to book.
