The county health department offered free COVID-19 testing and vaccines together at a number of clinics in 2021.
The first combined clinic, with the Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority, was held on April 2, 2021, at Shawnee Sports Complex in Dunbar. Later clinics were held at the health department office on Lee Street, including three Saturdays in August 2021 and a Sunday event on September 19, 2021.
