This was a repeat of the free COVID-19 testing and vaccination clinics that the county health department held in 2021.
In August 2021, when the CDC listed Kanawha County as high risk, the health department ran clinics on three Saturdays at its Lee Street office from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anyone could walk in. The health department also gave vaccines on weekdays without an appointment.
