CVS Pharmacy and its MinuteClinic walk-in clinics give many routine vaccines. CVS lists vaccines by age group, based on CDC guidance.
Vaccines offered
The CVS vaccine page lists COVID-19, flu, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, HPV, meningococcal (meningitis), MMR, mpox, pneumococcal (pneumonia), polio, RSV, shingles, Tdap, DTaP and varicella (chickenpox) vaccines, plus travel vaccines. Age limits apply. They depend on the vaccine and on state law.
How to get a vaccine
- Schedule online with the CVS scheduler or the CVS Health app.
- Call 1-800-746-7287 or the local CVS Pharmacy.
- Walk in, if the vaccine is in stock at that store.
CVS says most vaccines have no cost with most insurance plans. Costs for people without insurance differ by vaccine.
CDC immunization schedules
The CDC publishes two schedules for health care providers: one for children and teens and one for adults. It also publishes easy-to-read versions for parents and patients. Ask a doctor or pharmacist which vaccines are right for you.
