The county health department held a COVID-19 testing and vaccine clinic on Sunday, October 3, 2021, from 1 to 5 p.m. The clinic took place at the health department office, 108 Lee Street East in Charleston. Seasonal flu shots were also available.
When the clinic was announced on September 29, 2021, the county had 1,142 active COVID-19 cases. That day it reported 141 new cases and 312 new recoveries.
