COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for Age 65 and Older

Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center, 200 Civic Center Drive, Charleston, WV

In early 2021 COVID-19 vaccine supply was short, and clinic appointments were limited to priority groups, including older adults. The county health department held clinics for people age 65 and older at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center, 200 Civic Center Drive.

One clinic for this age group ran from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Appointments were set through a call center with 15 phone lines. Later clinics gave appointments to people 65 and older who had signed up through the state registration system at vaccinate.wv.gov.

People were asked not to come without an appointment. See also the clinic for those 80 and older.
