The Kanawha County Courthouse stands at Virginia and Court streets in downtown Charleston, WV, across from Charleston City Hall. The block-long stone building was built in 1892, with additions in 1917 and 1924. Its best-known feature is the twin-towered front on Virginia Street. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
