Guidance for Kanawha Judicial Annex Employees

In late March 2020, employees of the Kanawha County Judicial Annex in Charleston tested positive for COVID-19. The building was cleaned, and the county commission closed it to the public from March 25, 2020.

The health department asked people who worked in the building to self-isolate and to watch for fever, cough and trouble breathing. Anyone with questions or symptoms was told to call a health care provider or the health department hotline.

On April 2, 2020, the health department reported that 30 more annex employees had tested negative. See 30 Judicial Annex employees test negative for COVID-19.
