Flu Clinics
2009-2010 Season
Each flu season, KCHD conducts over 100 clinics in Kanawha County and gives an average of 11,000 shots to Kanawha County residents.
The 2009-2010 seasonal influenza clinics have already began for senior centers and outlying communities. Please check our calendar here to find out where a community clinic is in your area that you can attend. Seasonal flu clinics will open to the public at the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department on Monday, September 21, 2009 for those 18 years of age and older and will run Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm at 108 Lee Street, East. Clinics for all ages 6 months and over will open on Monday, September 29, 2009.
Prices this year are as follows:
Influenza vaccine, ages 6 through 35 months $14.00 each
Influenza Vaccine, ages 4 and up (note 1) $30.00 each
FluMist (live), ages 2 through 49 (note 2) $14.00
Pneumococcal Vaccine $15.00
(note 1) Children 6 months through 8 years may require two doses.
(note 2) Children 2 through 8 years may require two doses.
